Elke Elkberg is Carl's pen pal and love interest in "Carl Wheezer, Boy Genius." She originally claims to be a really famous person, but she confesses later to be a simple girl. However, as it turns out, she and Carl share the same obsessive love for llamas, and they start dating. She is voiced by Grey Griffin.

History[]

Elke normally lives on a farm in Sweden, but she came to America to buy llama feed. Carl lied to her that he was a boy genius, Jimmy was his lowly assistant and that when he changed Sheen from a monkey to a human to sound more likable. At the same time, Elke told Carl that she was a professional tennis player and a supermodel with the same intention.

At the end of the episode, she told Carl that she lied about her life, and interests, and Carl admitted that he also had. At first, Elke didn't believe Carl because she thought that he was lying to make her feel better until they both pulled out their Llama Love Society membership cards. After learning the truth, she accepts Carl for who he is and starts kissing him. Then, the couple ran off to go see a baby llama at the petting zoo, holding hands, leaving Jimmy and Sheen confused as to what had happened.

Quotes[]

  • "Come. Let me kiss you so many times, Nerd Boy!"
  • "Carl, is too fast. Slow down!"

  • She's the second girl in Carl's life to ever kiss him after Libby who kissed him on the cheek.
  • She is the second original female character made for the show who to show romantic chemistry to a male character that also appears in the original film. The first is Betty Quinlan, who showed romantic chemistry towards Nick in Out, Darn Spotlight.
