Captain Spoor is a Yolkian who appears prominently in the novelization of the Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius film, but was ultimately removed from the final cut of the story itself. He was to be in-charge of the Yolkians' expedition to the solar system and, in the novelization, is the one who receives Jimmy's message for possible alien life.
A brief clip of Spoor watching Jimmy's message can be seen in the theatrical trailer, which was later changed to King Goobot directly seeing the message himself in the finished film.

- It can be assumed the reason why Captain Spoor was cut from the film was so King Goobot's capacity and importance to the story's plot could be greatly enlarged, as the scenes Captain Spoor was originally to appear in were major plot-points in the film's series of events.
