Yentl Marmelstein is a new girl at lindbergh elementary who in the Journey to the Center of Carl has a cold so everyone runs away from her. She is more than likely Jewish American. Her first and last names are both references to singer/actress Barbra Streisand, who played a character called Ms. Marmelstein in her first Broadway show, and directed and starred in the film Yentl as the title character. She made a cameo appearance in the movie.
